10 Years of Scraps & Skeins
This year, Scraps & Skeins proudly celebrates a decade of creativity, community, and compassion. Since opening our doors in 2014, we've been a haven for makers and crafters, offering affordable sewing, knitting, and quilting materials generously donated by our community.
More than a shop, Scraps & Skeins is a mission-driven business dedicated to supporting individuals with mental illness through meaningful employment opportunities. Together, we've fostered a welcoming space where creativity flourishes, sustainability thrives, and lives are positively impacted. Thank you for 10 amazing years of support!
To celebrate, we are hosting a Scraps & Skeins Fiber Arts Showcase! This special event in May 2025 will mark our anniversary and provide an opportunity for our customers to showcase creations made over the past ten years using our upcycled materials.

The art showcase will feature both digital and in-person displays. All submissions will be included in the digital exhibition, and participants will have the option to present their work in person on the day of the event.
The art showcase will feature both digital and in-person displays. Showcase entries will be accepted from January 1 until March 30.
There are three categories for submission:

Student (ages 6-18)
The Artist category will be judged with prizes awarded for:

Knitting/Crocheting/Weaving

Needlework
*Each entrant may submit up to 3 items.
Entrance Fees
